Stanley Thomas Banks Wallis was born in 1917, son of Percy Valentine Wallis, a company director. He was a sergeant pilot in the RAF Volunteer Reserve. He died 20st May 1940 (the same day as Douglas A T Sheldrick) and is buried in St Andrew’s churchyard.
