Edmund Pierson, b 1895, son of Mr T E and Mrs Pierson of The Island Bungalow, Quy, was a florist’s errand boy in 1911. He served as a corporal in 1st Bttn Cambridgeshire Regiment and was killed on 4/9/1916, presumably in action on the Somme.
