P G Pope was a private in the Cambridge then Northamptonshire Regiments. It was reported on 4/6/1915 that he had been wounded in the foot but not seriously.

Wilfred Lester Pope, b. 1900, volunteered for the Red Cross from 1916-1917 on hospital, convoy and air raid duty.
