Centre for Mathematical Sciences

History of the Centre for Mathematical Studies

The CMS was built 1998-2001 by Edward Cullinan Architects. Pevsner says, ‘It is one of Cullinan’s best buildings, at once wildly imaginative and tightly disciplined, and showing a generous flow of ideas rather than the working out of a single dominant concept.’
