History of Station Hotel, Soham

On the left is the Station Hotel, previously known as the Anchor, later the Fair Haven home for elderly.

On the green in front of the hotel circa 1900 bare-knuckle fighting used to take place. Beyond is the grocery shop of Fuller Brown. Circa 1910 Horace Taylor took it over. On the right is the gasometer.
