My family lived at 40 High Street Sutton from 1968 to 1973. My Dad’s name was Hubert Thomas Hooper, and my mum’s name was Pamela Doreen Hooper. They had three children, including me. Barclays Bank used to have a peppercorn rent to operate on a Friday morning from these premises at that time.
